I do. But sometimes I end up with 30 philosophy related posts in google reader, and hit mark all as read, and then only later notice a post asking who reads a blog..

Bear in mind that post views is not necessarily a decent indicator of readers. Various things can set that off, including, presumably, multiple views from the same person, as well as bots.

(At one stage I had around 2000 hits from Philosophy Etc per day; I suspect it was the updating blogroll. Since then I’ve realised that hit counters aren’t just a little off, but potentially hugely misleading. )
